Random House has posted a free download (in PDF format) of Charles Bock's first novel, Beautiful Children, which has been reviewed pretty much everywhere and is apparently a hip coming-of-age story set in Las Vegas. Sounds like a fun book, but more importantly, this is quite an interesting move on the part of Random House! I wonder if we'll see more of this. (Only available until Friday, so download now to read later, if you're at all interested!)
